Hi, friend! I’m Rachel.

I haven’t always had a healthy relationship with food and exercise. In fact, for several years in college (and beyond), I was bound by a controlled diet, excessive exercise, and anxiety. It wasn’t until I had my son that I found incredible freedom in eating and exercise.

In college, I studied Health Science, specifically Health Education. I spent years learning how to educate others about living a holistic healthy lifestyle, beyond just diet and exercise. Yet, I wasn’t listening to my own advice.

After having a baby, something changed in me. Maybe it was the hormones, or the newfound sense of purpose, but something clicked. I was now able to eat what I wanted without stress or without punishing myself with an extra hard run, and also choose healthy options because I wanted them, not because I HAD to.

As a result, I am grateful to be able to use my past struggles and experiences to empower others to live a healthy lifestyle. My goal is to create easy-to-implement tips and tricks for wellness, while supporting you to live a full, joy-filled life; beyond diets and excessive exercise.

In this space, I hope you learn that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to wellness or healthy living. It’s about you finding what works for your life, and implementing it with a lot of grace and forgiveness. Fitness, healthy eating, emotional health, and everything else that wellness encompasses should not be stressful to you. It should empower you to live life to fullest and bring joy to your life and those around you.

Above all, I hope that you feel loved and cherished through my recipes, encouragement, and tips. Because as cheesy as it is, you really do only have one life to live. So, let’s make it one worth living.

To wellness and joy,

Rachel
